Independent recording artist Camila Paiva is just killing it! The Brazilian born singer and musician has entered into a full ‘flow’ state, and is releasing a new single almost every few weeks. Waiting for this moment to arrive, Camila is on a new journey to  become a recognizable name in the music industry, and her new singles speak volumes about her dedication and love for music.

Camilas’ latest single is ‘Stop Angeles’ and is available on Spotify and iTunes. The single brings out the comfort and confidence Camila has found in her voice. Her online following has thus been gradually building  as she drops one new single after another. Before this, she released “Conceited”, also available on Spotify and iTunes.

An explorer of pop, hip-hop and R&B, Camila grew up in Boston MA, and currently resides in Los Angeles. Among her influences, she counts Rihanna, Aaliyah, Sza, Kehlani, Jhene Aiko, Drake, Bad Bunny, and Marisa Monte.

Camila’s rise to her current form was preceded by her playing along with Justin Mercurio at Boston Unplugged 2017. She sang ‘Love’ with Justin, and went on to release “Love Me Like That”. 

Camila took to writing and singing from the tender age of five, when she sang through a Barbie karaoke microphone. Later, she began turning her poems into songs. In high school, she encountered producer and future mentor Mike Cip, and began to blossom as a seasoned musician at the Split2nd Entertainment Studio based in Lynn, Massachusetts. Camila learnt the basics of producing and engineering, and in the Studio met her future music partner, Justin Mercurio, the Boston based producer and artist.
