World Famous Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Self Defense Celebrates Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting with Princeton Mayor

Princeton Mayor Liz Lempert, town officials join UFC/Pride Veteran/2017 MMA coach of the year Professor Ricardo Almeida to celebrate grand opening & ribbon cutting ceremony As part of its Grand Opening, Gracie Barra North Princeton will also be holding a special Women and Girls (age 13+) Self Defense seminar on Saturday, November 10th at 1pm.

Princeton, New Jersey – Gracie Barra, recognized as one of the largest and most accomplished teams of martial arts instructors and athletes in the world, is proud to announce the grand opening of a new school at 4437 Route 27 in Princeton, NJ. The Gracie Barra North Princeton facility is an officially accredited school within the highly regarded and award-winning global Gracie Barra organization.  

As only the second Gracie Barra school in New Jersey, the grand opening will have a few marquee appearances, including a special Self Defense seminar with UFC/Pride Veteran and 2017 MMA coach of the year, Professor Ricardo Almeida on November 3rd at 10am. Princeton Mayor Liz Lempert will also be christening the new martial arts school with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 3rd at 11:30am.  Preceding these events is a Kid’s anti-bullying/self-defense class at 9am open to the public.

Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programs are available to all ages and all skill levels. It’s not only an incredibly effective self defense system, but its benefits have been shown to improve an individual’s physical, mental and psychological state. Gracie Barra’s programming establishes the foundation and support needed to help students fight life’s daily battles like weight loss, stress, bullying, and self-confidence.  

On November 10th, 2018, As part of its Grand Opening, Gracie Barra North Princeton will also be holding a special Women and Girls (age 13+) Self Defense seminar at 1pm. As a charity event with WOMANSPACE, all proceeds will be going to WomanSpace to help Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault victims.
