NeuroTripping Launches: Bespoke Travel for the Neurodiverse

October 18 14:24 2023

Travel is one of the best ways to experience new things. However, for the one in six Americans diagnosed as Neurodiverse (ADD, Aspergers, ADHD, Executive Function Disorder, etc.) travel can be incredibly daunting, with the challenges of new locations, constant crowds, nonstop queuing, time zone changes, and the host of last minute changes that, while able to be handled by the neuro-typical, can be problematic for the Neurodiverse.

Not anymore. NeuroTripping, by Explorateur Journeys launches this week, a series of curated trips designed by and for the Neurodiverse. These itineraries place the Neurodiverse first, allowing for everything from night excursions (lack of crowds) to one-on-one travel guides (less social anxiety) to frequent built-in rest periods (social battery recharging sessions.)

These journeys are an opportunity, for possibly the first time, for the Neurodiverse traveler to explore the world in a safe, controlled environment, free from the everyday obstacles that could otherwise derail a luxurious and long-awaited vacation.

These journeys address challenges and pain points with fresh unique planning that resolves things like:

– Groups, crowds + long lines no longer a part of the equation

– Unclear time frames resolved with more detailed itineraries and electronic reminders along with detailed itinerary information to prepare with

– Long days without reset periods eliminated with built in revitalization experiences

– Loud noises in complex, overstimulating locations- rather, the itineraries veer away from them

– Narrowing down attire + items to pack which is incredibly helpful

– Itinerary confusion gone with consistent concierge service 24.7 to assist with immediate answers on everything from pickup time to what to where, where a traveler’s  e-ticket is and beyond

Each itinerary is created personally for the individual traveler, taking into account their specific neurodiversity. Sample itinerary ideas are below:

Tokyo

This six day multimedia and tech journey takes explorers to some of Tokyo’s most secretive jewels, including electronics shopping in Shinjuku, pre-dawn fresh-caught sushi experiences at the Tokyo Fish Market, meetings with some of Asia’s top Neurodiversity scientists, and much more. Each journey is hand-crafted based on the individual traveler’s preferences, and includes private”no-line” transfers for all flights and ground connections.

Dubai

A journey to the jewel of the Middle East takes explorers to some of Dubai’s greatest treasures, including the peaceful silence of hot-air ballooning at dawn, desert dune surfing and oasis spotting, and even an hour at the Dubai “Chill” bar, an indoor dining experience where temperatures are below freezing at all times. Tie ins include a day at the world’s largest shopping center, the Dubai Mall, in which travelers can go skiing, ice skating, or even tubing, all indoors, as well as the over 1,000 stores and shops throughout the location. Each journey is hand-crafted based on the individual traveler’s preferences, and includes private”no-line” transfers for all flights and ground connections.
