Background:
Music has been an integral part of Vega’s life from an early age, with his father’s influence as a Ney player at The Egyptian Culture Palace during the 70s. The 90s further fueled his passion, as he drew inspiration from iconic artists such as Michael Jackson, Metallica, Korn, 2Pac, Lost Boys, and Wu Tang Clan. At the age of 12, Vega received a Casio Keyboard from his father as a birthday gift, igniting his fascination with playing the keys. Recognizing his talent, his father arranged for him to receive professional training from a seasoned musician on a larger PSR Yamaha keyboard when he turned 17.

Despite his musical potential, Vega’s journey took an unexpected turn when his father passed away in 2000, leaving him responsible for his two younger brothers. The weight of these new responsibilities forced Vega to bid farewell to his musical pursuits temporarily.
The Comeback:
In 2013, while working on a marketing project in Qatar, Vega’s passion for music reignited, and he embarked on a self-taught journey in music production. Acquiring basic musical equipment, he saw music as a powerful means of self-expression, providing solace and liberation. In 2017, his friend Illiam, deeply impressed by Vega’s compositions, encouraged him to share his beats on music online marketplaces, marking the beginning of his reemergence into the music scene.

Since 2014, Vega has been masterfully remixing beloved Arabic hit songs from the ’90s and the 2000s, breathing new life into tracks like “Mashaer” by Sherien, “Dary” by Alaa AbdelKhaliq, and “Maak Alby” by Amr Diab. In 2015, he collaborated with Egyptian underground rappers like Arab Rap Family, crafting captivating beats for their music.

In 2023, Vega achieved a significant milestone with the release of his debut single, “Dokkan,” featuring the talented guitarist and composer of Dabet Namla band, Mostafa Farid.
