The first stage of a major refurbishment of upscale Claremont Quarter is complete with the installation of seven large format custom carpets created by West Australian company, Ground Control Rugs.
The rugs are located on both upper and lower levels at Claremont Quarter and are designed to enhance and zone spaces, including the Main Guest Lounge, Guest Services Lounge, Teen Retreat and Rest Nooks.
The carpets’ design was a collaboration between Claremont Quarter Interior Designer’s, Taylor Robinson Chaney Broderick (TRCB) and Ground Control Rugs. TRCB selected rug styles from Ground Control’s commercial range and then specified fresh and earthy tones to complement and reflect the WA landscape. The rugs were made in 100% New Zealand premium wool.
Ground Control and its commercial agent, We Interior Co, were selected by TRCB on behalf of centre owners Hawaiian Group.
Hawaiian Group is undertaking a major upgrade of Claremont Quarter with the existing centre refurbishment the first phase of what will also include major new retail and dining precincts.
