With decades of exceptional experience in the industry, Dr. Marty Trevino is an esteemed professional in the field of cognitive neuroscience and technology, with a particular focus on the integration of human and artificial intelligence and the advancement of visual analytics for future applications. Dr. Trevino serves as a strategic partner for many organizations engaged in the development of novel models of Human/AI collaboration, Neuroscience-based Visual Interfaces, and the evaluation of technology startups on behalf of a venture capital investor family. Dr. Marty Trevino is an author of scientific and technical literature targeted at senior executives. Additionally, he engages in investments in numerous firms, using both sweat equity and traditional stock. Additionally, he actively collaborates with companies, assuming leadership roles at the executive level and actively participating in team-based activities. The individual’s distinctiveness is in their adoption of a human-centered, cognitive neuroscience-oriented methodology to address the complexities associated with data-driven decision-making and the integration of people, technology, and artificial intelligence toward specific objectives, such as fostering innovation, problem-solving, enhancing performance, and increasing productivity.
Prior to his current role as Chief Scientist and Technical Advisor, Dr. Trevino had served as a cyber operative for the National Security Agency (NSA) in the United States. Dr. Trevino has fulfilled the role of direct combat support in three distinct military conflicts, namely the Global War on Terror, the Iraq War, and the conflict in Afghanistan. Additionally, he has held the position of senior technical director of Mission Analytics and has contributed as a co-author for many years to the development of the Information Assurance Strategy. Prior to his national service, Dr. Trevino was employed at a prominent consulting company, where he had the opportunity to observe many organizations and interact with unique teams of exceptional individuals.
Before Embarking on his professional career path, Dr. Trevino obtained his Masters of Science from Texas A&M University and his Doctorate of Business Intelligence and Analytics, Math and Computer Science from Capella University.
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Trevino has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for his accomplishments. This year, he will be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. He will be honored at IAOTP’s annual awards gala at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville for his selection as Top Scientist and Technologist of the Year 2024.
